Asia Ring - (Marian U/D - Swing)
The Upcyclers will be Asia’s first Zoo Theatre Co. production and is uber excited to be working alongside many talented actors, some of whome she has worked with before! The creed of The Upcyclers touches her heart because, being born and raised in Hawaii, her culture always spoke about taking care and respecting the ‘aina (land). While in Hawaii, she has performed a number of productions at her local community theatre such as, Rodger’s & Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Disney’s Beauty & the Beast, and Ruddigore: The Witch’s Curse. Asia graduated AMDA with a BFA in Music Theatre. She was recently a part of Sierra Madre’s Nothing Is The Same as the silly and sassy Bobi and Casa 0101’s production of Disney’s Beauty & the Beast as a silly girl, a wolf, an a twirling napkin. She would like to thank Dan and Julia for letting her be a part of this awesome production as well as Chloe and Melvin. For you, mom.

Spencer Frankenberger - (Paul)
Spencer lives his life like the movie My Big Fat Greek Wedding daily as a goofy Greek-American, but that's not all. He’s also a board-certified music therapist (MT-BC) and is conversational in American Sign Language. Oh, and he’s a good speller--so much that he won his 5th grade spelling bee and received 2nd place and Most Spirited in a college spelling bee with the Black Student Union at Florida State.
And to top it off, he may be the only living human who can say he has been hit in the eye with a baseball, is a board-cetified music therapist, finds the art of tattoos fascinating, even though he never wants one, and is the biggest theme park enthusiast who lives vicariously through theme park design, Youtube ride POV's, and random trivia facts about amusements. In addition to this,
Spencer is an actor/director. He is a huge improv nerd, and is a graduate of iO West and ComedySportz LA, is currently in a six-week run of the grad revue “Flight Club” at The Second City Hollywood, and has also taken classes at UCB, Improv-LA, The Clubhouse, and Rogue Improv, with classes at these schools ranging from musical improv to duo improv and even hip-hop improv. When he's not improvising, Spencer works as an enrichment instructor, a house manager at ComedySportz, and a Marketing Research Interviewer at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Recent comedy credits include: Laff Mobb's Laff Tracks (truTV), Player 1: The Video Game Jumper (web series), The Student and the Master (short film), Magic for Humans (Netflix), and the award-winning, semi-scripted musical comedy, Coasterthon Catastrophe: An Amusement Park Musical, which he also wrote and composed, and which received multiple awards including an Encore Award at the 2018 Hollywood Fringe Festival. He was last seen on The Second City Hollywood stage in Money: A Musical Revue.
And just for the record, he wants you to know he has an MFA in Film Production from Florida State University.

He currently also stars as "Hedviga" in the Muscial Mash-Up "The Mitchell Sanitorium" at The Three Clubs, in Hollywood.
